Jennifer Lawrence narrates hometown university’s sports video

Actress Jennifer Lawrence has lent her voice to a new video honouring her hometown university’s sports teams. The University of Louisville’s teams changed competitive leagues on 1 July (14) and to mark the occasion, the institution recruited the Oscar-winning Louisville, Kentucky native to create a special clip.
The video begins with a photograph of the American Hustle star before cutting to scenes of the town, as Lawrence says, “I grew up in the Derby City, home to a proud and storied university, filled with rich athletic tradition and packed with fans who are as loyal and passionate as any in college sports… Now the next chapter of Louisville athletics is upon us as we… prepare to face some of history’s most accomplished and elite collegiate programs… The competition will be fierce. Let’s do this!”
