Jennifer Lawrence raises money for Hunger Games crewmember battling cancer

Actress Jennifer Lawrence has helped to raise $50,000 (GBP31,250) for a Hunger Games crew member who is battling cancer, according to a U.S. report. The unnamed crewman was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and when the Silver Linings Playbook star heard the news, she reportedly rallied the rest of the crew to donate funds to him.
A source tells ShowbizSpy.com, “When Jennifer learned his family was in dire financial need, she asked the cast and film execs (executives) for help and raised about $25,000. Then she got the company that produced the film to match that.
“The crewman and his family were incredibly grateful for Jennifer’s help, and they’ve thanked her over and over again.”
