Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have made their official red carpet debut as a couple at the 2017 Met Gala in New York.
The pair arrived hand-in-hand to the star-studded event on Monday (01May17) as Lopez stunned in a flowing light blue gown designed by Valentino, wearing accent jewelry pieces by Harry Winston. Her former baseball player date was suited up in a classy traditional tuxedo and on their way to the party, Jennifer couldn’t help but gush about how good her date looked on social media.

“Me and my macho bello (my beautiful man),” the Waiting for Tonight singer captioned the Instagram image.
According to E! News, Rodriguez appeared to be in awe of his date for the evening, snapping photos of the superstar as she posed for photographers.

The couple’s appearance at Vogue editor Anna Wintour’s high-profile fundraiser is one of several sightings of the loved up pair in recent months.

During Easter Weekend (15-16Apr17), they made headlines after vacationing in the Dominican Republic together while Lopez was in the Caribbean country for a special concert event opposite ex-husband Marc Anthony.
During an appearance on The View in March (17), Rodriguez gushed about the new woman in his life, calling Lopez an “amazing, amazing girl,” and adding that she is, “One of the smartest human beings I’ve ever met and also an incredible mother.”
