Jennifer Lopez goes country with Jennifer Nettles

Jennifer Lopez has gone down South for a new duet with country singer Jennifer Nettles.
The Sugarland star recruited the Booty singer for a song called My House, which features on Nettles’ new solo album, Playing With Fire, due out on 13 May (16).
The country star first confirmed reports of their unlikely collaboration last month (Apr16), revealing to Rolling Stone that the project is a “collaborative duet”, and added the track “sends a good message and is a ton of fun.”
And on Thursday (05May16), Nettles gave fans a first listen by debuting the song about two artists who aren’t as different as it may seem.
The two alternate between lines, with Nettles singing, “Our boys shootin’ deer,” and New York-native Lopez replying, “Our boys shootin’ hoops.”
“I’m Jenny from the dirt road, I’m Jenny from the Block… My house is your house, we’re really not that different,” the two sing in unison.
Lopez isn’t the only pop star to go country as of late – Beyonce recently released the country-tinged track, Daddy Lessons, on her new album Lemonade. Country trio Dixie Chicks even covered the song during a recent concert in Manchester, England.
