Jennifer Lopez’s TV bid beats Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in channel takeover

Jennifer Lopez has triumphed over her ex-boyfriend Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in the battle to buy U.S. cable channel Fuse, according to U.S. reports. NuvoTV, the Latin network backed by Lopez, has acquired the channel for around $200 million (£125 million), reports Billboard.com.
The agreement comes after a bidding war among several media companies to take over the youth-focused channel, including a similar $200 million bid by Combs, whose business empire already includes Revolt TV.
Lopez became a minority shareholder in NuvoTV in 2012 and also holds a senior role as its chief creative officer.
