Jenny McCarthy impressed with husband’s work ethic after watching him on tour

Model and actress Jenny Mccarthy saw a different side of her husband Donnie Wahlberg when she joined him on the road with New Kids on the Block recently.
The TV personality admits living on a tour bus with a bunch of sweaty guys wasn’t as much fun as she thought it would be, but it gave her the chance to see her man at work – and she was floored by the way he treated his fans, even when he was shattered after shows.
“This guy blew me away,” she said during a joint appearance with her husband on America’s The Steve Harvey Show, explaining why she recently went public with a private tribute letter she wrote to Donnie at the end of the tour.
“I sat there and thought about how exhausted he was, working, and then meeting with the fans and having such a personal connection with everyone. I’ve seen celebrities blow people off; this man stops and signs autographs for everybody.
“There are people, his fans, some of them passed away (sic), he paid for their funerals. Then he would get on a plane and go to (TV series) Blue Bloods, get back on a plane to do the tour, and then I’m pulling at him as a wife… and then his kids. He’s pulled in so many directions and never complained once.
“My heart just exploded and I said, ‘I have to just express my love for him and I’m just grateful that the world got to see it.'”
