Jerry O’Connell to play big brother on Big Bang Theory

Jerry O’Connell has signed on to play Dr. Sheldon Cooper’s brother in The Big Bang Theory.
Fresh off a stint as guest host on America’s The Wendy Williams Show, the Mission to Mars star will take on the role as Georgie in an upcoming arc.
The casting news was announced during a Big Bang Theory panel at PaleyFest earlier this week (beg19Mar18).
Joining his castmates, Jim Parsons, who plays Sheldon Cooper on the show paid tribute to another former guest star, Stephen Hawking, who died last week.
“It was frightening,” Parsons said of working with the professor. “He is the smartest person you are ever going to meet. It was a true honour. I always left the room fast before I said something stupid.”
