Jess Glynne bags second U.K. number one

Jess Glynne has landed her second number one album in the U.K.

Always In Between, the follow-up to the singer’s 2015 debut I Cry When I Laugh, has debuted at the top of the Official Charts Company rundown, pushing last weeks top selling album, the soundtrack to Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s remake of A Star Is Born, into second place.

The Greatest Showman soundtrack is at three, while rock veteran Rod Stewart’s Blood Red Roses and Eminem’s Kamikaze complete the top five.

In the singles chart, Calvin Harris and Sam Smith’s Promises returns to the top spot, racking up its sixth non-consecutive week at number one as U.K. grime stars Dave and Fredo’s Funky Friday falls to two, just ahead of Marshmello and Bastille’s Happier at three.

A Star Is Born castmates Bradley and Lady Gaga’s rendition of Shallow and Little Mix’s new single, A Woman Like Me, rounds out the top five.
