Jess Glynne teams up with Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton on new music

British singer-songwriter Jess Glynne has confirmed she is teaming up with racing driver Lewis Hamilton on new music.

The four-time Formula One champion has reportedly been quietly working on his own records for years, and has now recruited the Hold My Hand hitmaker as his musical mentor.

“I do know Lewis, he’s cool, he’s so lovely,” Jess shared with British publication The Sun.

“We talk every now and then and he’s a really cool guy. I have been in the studio doing some music with him actually. He loves music and he’s a really talented guy in all walks of life.”

The Right Here singer remained vague over what material the pair might be bringing out, but insisted the end result would be worth waiting for.

“I know he’s really into doing his own thing musically. And I know when he does release stuff you’ll be in for a treat. I performed at one of the Formula One gigs and that’s how we became friends,” she smiled.

The 28-year-old currently holds the record for the most chart-toppers for a British woman in the U.K. after her latest single I’ll Be There hit the top spot again.

But the songstress is not the first famous face to collaborate with the racing driver, with Frank Ocean, Drake and Tinie Tempah have all reportedly spent time with Lewis in the studio.

Meanwhile, Jess admitted she had other partnerships in her sights after Victoria and David Beckham’s son Cruz, who regularly showcases his singing talents on Instagram, followed her on the social media platform.

Cruz Beckham follows me, it’s so cool. He’s the cute little kid with the freckles. I’d love to work with him, I love the Beckhams. I’d love to offer my advice and words to help him.”
