Actor Jesse Williams has requested joint custody of his two children as part of his divorce.
The Grey’s Anatomy star filed papers to end his five-year marriage to Aryn Drake-Lee on 11 April (17), according to People.com.
The former couple, who have reportedly split amicably, are parents to a three-year-old daughter named Sadie and son Maceo, who was born in 2015, and Jesse has requested he and Aryn share joint physical and legal custody of them, according to TMZ.com.
The 35-year-old reportedly asked the court to deny Aryn spousal support, which could mean they have a prenuptial agreement in place, but sources tell TMZ this isn’t the case.
Jesse met the real estate broker while he was a schoolteacher and they married in 2012 after five years of dating.
“She’s been with me through all different facets of my career,” Williams told USA Today in 2010. “She’s stuck with me through thick and thick and thick and thin. We know each other in and out.”
