Jessica Alba struggling to shift last pounds of baby weight

Jessica Alba is struggling to lose her baby weight following the birth of her third child.

The actress and entrepreneur and her husband Cash Warren are parents to daughters Honor, 10, and Haven, six, as well as son Hayes, who was born in late December (17).

While Jessica appears to be back to her usual slim physique, she took to Instagram Stories on Wednesday (04Jul18) to share a photo of her in the gym and explained that she still had 15 pounds (six kilograms) to shed in order to return to her pre-pregnancy weight.

“Still got 15 lbs to go – this is my most challenging considering I didn’t gain as much w (with) Hayes… 6 months postpartum,” she captioned the post, in which she posed in a blue top and matching leggings. Jessica added the flexed arm and sweat emojis as well as the words “got it in” to her post.

It appears the Fantastic Four actress decided to get in a quick gym session prior to celebrating U.S. Independence Day with her family. The 37-year-old also uploaded a snap of her enjoying a cocktail as well as a patriotic photo of her and her children watching a fireworks display on a beach.

Previously, Jessica discussed how she made the decision to adopt a healthy diet following the birth of her first child. However, she also admitted that she wasn’t as on top of her workout routine as she’d like to be.

“I’m going to try and be a little bit more consistent with my fitness because I’m really inconsistent,” she stated at a recent conference in Hong Kong. “I think with trying new things it’s (all about) baby steps. I know what I’m going to be able to stick to, realistically. And I think if you go to (an) extreme, (you) wouldn’t do well. If I had to be vegan and work out seven days a week, for example, and drink two litres of water a day and whatever else there is, I wouldn’t be able to do that.”
