Jessica Biel pays tribute to Ulee’s Gold co-star Peter Fonda

Jessica Biel has paid tribute to her Ulee’s Gold co-star Peter Fonda, praising the late actor for having such an “impact” on her and her career.
The now 37-year-old actress starred alongside Fonda in the 1997 film in what was her first-ever big-screen role. The Easy Rider star passed away on Friday (16Aug19) aged 79 after losing his battle against lung cancer, and Jessica reflected on her time working with the screen veteran in a heartfelt post on Instagram.
Sharing a snap of herself and Fonda on the set of the movie, Jessica wrote: “I had the honour of working with #PeterFonda on the first movie I ever made (as an angsty teenager with a nose ring).
“Ulee’s Gold was a huge opportunity and he believed in me. I’m forever grateful for him and the impact he had on me and my career. I’m sure countless others can say the same. Rest in paradise.”
Since Ulee’s Gold, Jessica has gone on to enjoy a hugely successful acting career – starring in movies such as The A-Team and Total Recall, as well as TV shows including New Girl and the critically-acclaimed The Sinner.
