Jessica Simpson smiles at the sounds of Led Zeppelin’s Since I’ve Been Loving You because it’s the song her husband proposed to.
The singer took to Instagram on Sunday (12Nov17) and shared a few details about the night she agreed to marry former footballer Eric Johnson back in 2010.

“Got engaged to ‘Since I’ve Been Loving You‘ by Led Zeppelin on 11/11 at 11:11 AM 7 years ago,” she wrote beside a black-and-white photo of herself showing off her engagement ring as she sat on the ground outside their house, surrounded by rose petals. “Still loving this Man is the easiest part of my life”.
The couple had only been dating for nine months when Eric popped the question. He and Jessica went on to tie the knot in 2014, and are now parents to daughter Maxwell, five, and son Ace, four.
The marriage is Jessica’s second – she was previously Mrs. Nick Lachey, but divorced the 98 Degrees singer in 2006 after four years as husband and wife.
