Jimmy Kimmel Enjoyed Epic Twitter Feud with Kanye West

Jimmy Kimmel has admitted he enjoyed his Twitter feud with Kanye West.

The Jimmy Kimmel Live! host went to war with Kanye after his show ran a parody sketch (Sep13) poking fun at an interview the rapper did with Zane Lowe for BBC Radio 1. The Gold Digger hitmaker reached out to Jimmy via Twitter to voice his disapproval of the stunt, and even created the #AllDisrespectToJimmyKimmel hashtag in protest. But Jimmy has made a surprising confession, admitting that the Twitter battle made him “so happy.”

“I feel very confident in a situation like that,” he told GQ in his February (18) cover story. “My wife made fun of me. She was like ‘You are so happy right now.’ I was absolutely beaming.”

The TV presenter responded to the dispute on his show when he joked that he “always wanted to be in a rap feud.”

However, Jimmy, 50, and Kanye, 40, settled their differences live on air when the Grammy-award-winner appeared as a guest on his show Jimmy Kimmel Live! (Oct13).

The television personality, who is married to the show’s co-head writer Molly McNearney, also shared his love of deprecating humor in his interview.

“When somebody makes a truly offensive joke to me, I love them a little bit more,” he revealed. “If it’s just offensive, it’s no good. But there’s nothing better than when something emotional is going on, maybe it’s a wedding toast, and somebody funny leans over and whispers something terrible into your ear.

“I live for those moments. I live for being the one who does the whispering,” he laughed.
