Joan Rivers’ Daughter Hires Lawyers to Look Into Death

Joan Rivers‘ daughter has hired a team of lawyers to investigate the funnywoman’s death.

The veteran comedienne passed away at a hospital in New York City in September (14) a week after suffering a cardiac arrest during a routine throat procedure at a clinic in the Big Apple. A New York City medical examiner determined her death was caused by hypoxic arrest as oxygen to her brain was cut off during the procedure. An autopsy proved inconclusive.

Her daughter, Melissa Rivers, has now hired attorneys to look into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy in order to find out what happened.
