Actress Jodie Sweetin has agreed to hand her second ex-husband Cody Herpin $10,000 in back child support and increase her future payments for their young daughter.

The Full House star divorced Herpin in 2010 after three years of marriage, blaming the split on her ex’s failure to get a job, which left them struggling financially with overdue utility bills for their family home.

Sweetin alleged she was only able to support her family with the residual payments from her hit 1980s sitcom and funds from her parents, and she was subsequently ordered to give Herpin $600-a-month in child support for eight-year-old Zoie.

Seven years on, Sweetin’s career has been given a big boost thanks to her role in the Full House spin-off, Fuller House, which debuted on streaming service Netflix last year (16), and in February (17), Herpin filed legal papers seeking to modify her support agreement with Herpin, reports DailyMail.co.uk.

The pair managed to settle on a new deal out-of-court, which now requires the actress to up her monthly child support to $2,000 as she is currently raking in almost $6,000 a month, thanks to the return of the popular TV franchise, which will launch its third season in December (17).

Sweetin is also mother to six-year-old Beatrix, with her third husband Morty Coyle, who receives almost $1,850 each month in child support.

The news emerges after Sweetin, 35, called off her latest engagement to writer/producer Justin Hodak in March (17) following a nasty fight at their California home, where he allegedly threatened to kill himself.

Police were called to investigate the domestic dispute, and Hodak was taken into custody for felony possession of a firearm.

He was arrested again last week (ends31Mar17) after reportedly violating a restraining order Sweetin had obtained against her former fiance by driving past her house.
