Actress/singer Joey Heatherton has been hit with a restraining order after a bizarre bust-up with a neighbour over the use of a food blender. The former child star has been prohibited from going within 20 feet (six metres) of her upstairs neighbour Chandra Arend after they fell out when Heatherton complained she makes too much noise in her kitchen.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ.com, Heatherton allegedly attacked Arend with a high-heeled shoe in the shared lobby of the apartment block in Sherman Oaks, California.
It is not the actress’ first brush the law – she was charged with disorderly conduct in 1985 after slapping a clerk at the U.S. Passport Office in New York, and with assault and drug possession in 1986.
