John Legend is whisking his wife Chrissy Teigen off to Paris, France for the couple’s first meeting and wedding anniversary this week.
The couple met on the set of Legend’s Stereo video on 13 September, 2006 and they wed the same week in 2013.
“It’s our dual anniversary this week and we’re going to Paris,” the All of Me singer explains.
The pair met after a mutual pal, who was directing the promo, suggested John should hire Chrissy as his love interest.
“He knew both of us and he thought we might hit it off,” John says. “He showed me a picture of her and said, ‘Do you mind if I cast her in the video… I think you’ll like her’. And I think I liked her.”
