John Lennon’s Bermuda trip recreated for iTunes app

Fans of tragic Beatles star John Lennon can relive his 1980 trip to Bermuda as part of a new iTunes app, which will hit the online download store in November (13). John Lennon: The Bermuda Tapes follows the Imagine singer on a journey to Bermuda, where he recorded tracks for his collaborative album Double Fantasy.
The online app features demos of hit songs like Woman, Nobody Told Me and Dear Yoko, and fans will also be able to virtually visit places where Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono hung out during their trip.
All revenue from the app will go towards WhyHunger’s Imagine There’s No Hunger campaign.
Ono is a big fan of the app, releasing a statement that reads: “I think the album app captures the sense of discovery and the artistic dialogue that John and I shared at that time and provides a new way to help us imagine a world without hunger.”
The trip to Bermuda took place just months before Lennon was shot dead in New York.
