Mayer was in New Orleans ahead of a Dead & Company concert at the Smoothie King Center on Tuesday night, when he fell ill. The show was postponed and now the group’s concerts on Thursday and Friday (07-08Dec17) in Orlando and Sunrise, Florida have also been pulled.

“The Dead & Company concerts scheduled for Dec. 7 in Orlando, Florida and Dec. 8 in Sunrise, Florida, in addition to the Dec. 5 show in New Orleans, are postponed,” the representative continues.

“All tickets for these shows will be honored for the rescheduled dates. Information on the rescheduled concerts will be announced as soon as possible.”

The 40-year-old singer-songwriter has been touring with the Grateful Dead spin-off band, featuring Bob Weir and Mickey Hart, since 2015. Mayer also has a number of upcoming solo dates scheduled, but it is unclear when he’ll be well enough to get back on the road after his health emergency.
