John Oates launching TV series about American music

Musician JOHN OATES is adding TV show host to his resume by launching a series about American culture.
Good Road to Follow, which is named after Oates’ 2013 album, will feature the Hall & Oates star driving through the U.S. searching for unique towns, local food and music.
At the end of each episode, Oates will collaborate with the local artists to arrange and perform their music, which will then be made available for download at the end of each show.
A statement from Oates reads, “Two things that have really defined my life over the years are the road and roots music.
“So this is my chance to combine those two forces into a show that will allow viewers to come along with me on a unique journey.”
Oates is currently shopping the series to U.S. network executives.
