Actor John Stamos is taking a 19 year old amputee on a trip to Disneyland. Kaitlyn Dobrow, who lost all of her limbs to meningococcemia, a bacterial infection, met the Full House star on Tuesday (06Aug13) when he visited her in a California hospital.
Stamos shared a picture of himself with Dobrow on Instagram.com and shared a link to a news article about her ordeal.
He writes, “I’m ONLY doing this cause they asked. I said no press. But this story is a must read – plus me and katie (sic) have a date to Disneyland (sic).”
Dobrow has been in the hospital since earlier this year (13) and has had to have her arms removed from the shoulder down and has lost her legs from the knees down.
