Actor/director John Turturro has credited his barber with helping him land Woody Allen as a co-star in his new film Fading Gigolo. The Transformers star was thrilled when he was able to sign the Hollywood legend up for his movie, and he has now revealed Allen was brought on board by barbershop gossip.
He explains to the New York Post’s gossip column Page Six, “We have the same barber, Anthony Silvestri. I was getting my hair cut, telling Anthony about this crazy idea for a movie. He told Woody about it.”
