Johnny Galecki to be honoured by firefighters who tried to save his ranch

The Big Bang Theory star Johnny Galecki and Jane the Virgin’s Jaime Camil are to be honoured for their support of firefighters at the upcoming California Fire Foundation (CFF) gala.
Both actors stepped up big after 2017 wildfires hit their homes.
Galecki’s ranch retreat near San Luis Obispo was destroyed, while Camil’s mother and grandmother were saved by firefighters.
The stars have offered vocal and financial support to firefighters, prompting CFF bosses to honour them at their fifth annual gala on 28 March (18).
“Firefighters dedicate their lives to serving our communities and keeping our families safe,” CFF chairman Lou Paulson tells The Hollywood Reporter. “The past year has been very challenging across California, but our women and men stepped up like they always do when fires break out.
“We’re humbled that so many people are coming together to show their gratitude and financially support the services CFF provides to firefighters, their families, and disaster victims.”
Camil will also be part of the event host committee, alongside Ed Begley Jr., Drea de Matteo, George Lopez, and Wendi McLendon-Covey.
