Jon Gosselin pulls gun during snapper confrontation

U.S. reality TV star Jon Gosselin sparked a police investigation on Friday (20Sep13) by firing a gun during a confrontation with a paparazzo. The former Jon & Kate Plus Eight star, who split from his wife of 10 years, Kate, in 2009, is now working as a waiter in rural Pennsylvania and he was involved in an incident with a photographer just days after the news became public knowledge.
Gosselin reportedly became upset when he discovered a female snapper was taking his picture after he left the restaurant where he now works, and he approached her outside his cabin home, pulling out a handgun and firing a warning shot.
The woman filed a report with the local police department, but cops have now confirmed they will not be pursuing a case against the former TV star as the snapper was standing on private property when the shot was fired, according to Eonline.com.
And Gosselin tells TMZ.com he will not press charges against the paparazzo, who was allegedly trespassing on his lawn when he fired the warning shot.
He says, “The message that I take my family’s privacy seriously was sent loud and clear. I trust that she will respect that in the future.”
