Mad Men star Jon Hamm is returning to his baseball roots to star in a news sports movie chronicling the real-life story of two Indian cricketers who became pitchers in America. Hamm will play sports agent J.B. Bernstein, who discovered Indian sports fans Rinku Singh and Dinesh Patel through a reality TV contest, in Million Dollar Arm.
Both men went on to play for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Alan Arkin has also been cast in the film, which will shoot in Mumbai, India and Georgia, beginning next month (May13), according to Variety.
