Jose Feliciano files lawsuit against former manager

Composer Jose Feliciano has filed a lawsuit against his former manager. The blind Feliz Navidad composer claims Roy Sciacca took advantage of his visual impairment while recruiting him as a client last year (12) by offering him a contract he couldn’t read and then failing to alter the agreement to reflect what they had discussed during negotiations.
The Grammy winner filed legal papers in Florida on 14 June (13) seeking unspecified damages and a court order rescinding the management agreement, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
An excerpt of the document reads, “Unfortunately, Feliciano is blind, (he) did not have the ability to read the Agreement, no one read him the Agreement and he was not otherwise informed of the specific language of the final revision of the Agreement.”
