Filmmaker Judd Apatow and his actress wife Leslie Mann have unexpectedly dropped out of upcoming comedy Bad Moms, due to reported scheduling issues.
Apatow was slated to produce while Mann was set to star in the film, which will be directed by The Hangover writers Jon Lucas and Scott Moore.
According to Deadline.com, the couple planned to make the project their next joint venture but the shooting schedule did not fit into their limited window of time.
Mann was preparing to star as an overworked mum who joins forces with other “bad mothers” to challenge the parents they don’t get along with at their kids’ school.
Apatow and Mann have worked on numerous projects over the years, including This Is 40, Knocked Up, and The Cable Guy, where they first met.
