Julia Louis Dreyfus is set to challenge the Seinfeld curse again by launching a
new sitcom later this year.
Twelve episodes of the actress’ new show Old Christine have been picked up by
network bosses at CBS, a year after her last show, Watching Ellie was cancelled
by rival network NBC.
In the new show, Dreyfus will play a divorced single mother trying to come to
terms with the fact that her ex-husband has moved on with his life.
The Seinfeld stars have all met with disaster after launching TV shows
following their success on the show–Jason Alexander‘s two TV projects have
been scrapped and Michael Richards‘ self-titled comedy show was cancelled
before the end of its first season.
