Julia Roberts’ kids discovered mum was Most Beautiful at the library

Julia Roberts’ kids were stunned when they discovered their mum was People magazine’s Most Beautiful Woman during a trip to their school library.
Twins Phinnaeus and Hazel, 12, and nine-year-old Henry saw the publication with their mother on the cover as they were browsing for books.
“They said, ‘Mum, we saw this magazine and this is what it said’,” Julia told news show Extra, joking, “‘America was found in 1776, you’re the most beautiful woman in the world – why didn’t you tell us?’
“If they didn’t take it as a fact, it’s a fact now… It’s part of the legend.”
The Pretty Woman star will add to her appeal by taking part in a Running With… Bear Grylls survival special, which will air in America as part of Thursday night’s (25May17) Red Nose Day telethon.
Julia’s adventure will involve delivering life-saving vaccines to children in Kenya.
“The best part about getting to go is to see what actually happens…,” she said. “They (charity workers) see the problems. They see where solutions can happen. And then you see the solutions take place and kids’ lives change.
“It’s really inspiring and empowering and it certainly does refresh one’s gratitude.”
