Justin Bieber holds off Ariana Grande in U.K. singles chart challenge

Justin Bieber’s Luis Fonsi collaboration Despacito has held off a challenge from Ariana Grande’s charity single to top the U.K. singles chart.
The 23-year-old singer’s remix of Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s track remains at number one for a sixth week. It’s the second week in a row the single has beaten Ariana’s charity single One Last Time to the top.
Her 2014 hit was re-released after her One Love Manchester concert on 4 June (17) to raise funds for the families of the victims and those injured in the suicide bomb attack outside her concert at the Manchester Arena in England on 22 May (17).
French Montana and Swae Lee’s Unforgettable moves up to three on the new countdown, while Strip That Down, Liam Payne’s collaboration with Migos rapper Quavo, is at four. Another Bieber track, his new collaboration with French DJ David Guetta, 2U, enters the chart at five.
Meanwhile, trio London Grammar’s new record Truth Is a Beautiful Thing debuts at number one on the album chart, as Ed Sheeran’s ÷ (divide) falls to two, and country music veteran Glen Campbell’s farewell record Adios is at three.
Rag’N’Bone Man’s Human and Fleetwood Mac rockers Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie’s collaboration Buckingham/McVie round out the top five.
