Justin Timberlake teams with Stella McCartney on tour wardrobe

Stella Mccartney has designed Justin Timberlake’s wardrobe for his Man Of The Woods Tour.

Justin kicked off his trek around the world on Tuesday (13Mar18) in Toronto, with the star and his dancers all decked out in clothes by the British designer.

It comes after Stella dressed the Rock Your Body singer for his Super Bowl halftime show in February, and marks the first time the fashion star, daughter of The Beatles legend Paul McCartney, has collaborated on a performer’s tour wardrobe.

Posting on Twitter next to a photo of Justin and his dancers, a brand representative wrote: “Justin Timberlake kicks off his #MOTWTOUR in a custom #StellaMenswear camo-splatter Prince of Wales check bomber jacket and track. Dancers and band are also wearing #StellaMenswear.”

The outfits are a mix of custom designs and pieces from the Stella McCartney fall men’s collection. A Prince of Wales check bomber jacket, trench coat, combat trousers with wildlife prints, retro chevron tracksuits and tailoring in flannel are among the pieces Justin will be wearing, with all garments made from organic cotton and re-purposed fabrics, in keeping with Stella’s eco-friendly brand ethos.

As for the dancers, they’ll be dressed in shirts, hoodies, and T-shirts made of organic cotton and featuring wildlife imagery inspired by the work of photographer Martin Ridley, while the 15-piece band will sport camo splatter printed blazers, bomber jackets, waistcoats, and shirts.

Justin’s next show is in Washington D.C., followed by performances in New York. He heads to Europe for the second leg of the tour in June, before going back to North America. The tour comes to a close in January 2019.
