Kanye West and Kim Kardashian seek to trademark newborn son’s name

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have filed paperwork to trademark their newborn son’s name in a variety of industries.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star confirmed the arrival of the couple’s fourth child on social media on 10 May (19), and a week later, announced the little boy’s name as Psalm West.
Now Kanye and Kim have taken legal steps to apparently protect their son’s name to avoid exploitation by applying for trademarks for several hair, skin, and beauty products, as well as clothing, jewellery, baby goods, toys, stationery, computer software, entertainment services, and personal appearances, reports TMZ.
The paperwork is similar to documents filed following the births of their daughters North, five, and one-year-old Chicago, and son Saint, three.
Kim’s siblings, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner, have also taken such measures to reserve the rights to use their children’s names for business ideas in the future.
