The socialite and TV star will exchange vows with basketball player Kris Humphries at an estate in Montecito, California before an estimated 500 guests at the weekend, and she prepared for her nuptials with a party at Scarpetta in the Montage hotel.
A guest tells Life & Style magazine, “They had a buffet dinner and everyone danced afterward!
“Kim mingled a lot and said she couldn’t wait to get ready for the wedding.”
Following the party, the bride-to-be tweeted, “What a fun night w (with) family & friends! Now I’m sleeping in late tomorrow!”
Kardashian and her wedding party will leave Los Angeles on Friday (19Aug11) and head north up the coast to Oprah Winfrey’s adopted home town to prepare for the big day.
Reports suggest the reality TV star will wear two Vera Wang gowns to the wedding and reception. Pal Nicole Richie helped the socialite and Wang design one of the dresses.
Saturday’s nuptials are sure to be a star-studded affair – reports suggest guests will include comedienne Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato, who will celebrate her 19th birthday at the wedding.
She tells Access Hollywood, “I’m so excited… It’s going to be my birthday and I get to spend it at Kim’s wedding!”
The wedding will be Kardashian’s second. She was married to music producer Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004.
The newlyweds plan to delay a honeymoon but they’ll reportedly move into a penthouse suite at Gansevoort Park Avenue in New York as husband and wife.
