Kareem Abdul-Jabbar hospitalised – report

Basketball legend KAREEM ABDUL-JABBAR has been hospitalised for chest pains, just weeks after undergoing a quadruple coronary bypass.
The former Los Angeles Lakers star, 68, was admitted to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles earlier this month (Apr15) with cardiovascular disease. The heart surgery was successful and Abdul-Jabbar was expected to make a full recovery.
But on Wednesday (29Apr15), the sportsman was back in hospital after complaining of chest pains, according to TMZ.com.
Sources tell the gossip site he was treated by doctors, but his condition is unclear.
News of Abdul-Jabbar’s health scare comes hours after he told fans he was feeling much better following the heart surgery in a tweet, which read: “Just want to let everyone know I’m doing fine & feeling better everyday. Doing my rehab w/ the same mental commitment I had as an pro (professional athlete).”
