Kasabian to raise money for the homeless with charity show

British rockers Kasabian are helping the homeless by playing a charity show in London next month (Sep14). The band has teamed up with the Shelter charity and the U.K.’s Absolute Radio to stage the concert for around 500 fans at Notting Hill’s MODE venue in the British capital.
The gig will take place on 9 September (14) and money raised will boost Shelter’s drive to help the homeless.
Guitarist Serge Pizzorno says, “Everyone needs a place to call home. It keeps you grounded, and helps give you strength to push forward. What Shelter do is amazing, and we want to back that.”
Shelter spokeswoman Tracy Griffin adds, “This Kasabian gig will raise much needed funds so we can help more families when the worst happens.”
Tickets go on sale on 26 August (14).
