Katherine Jackson has reportedly filed paperwork to join a lawsuit against the executors of her late son Michael Jackson‘s estate.

Broderick Morris, Qadree El-Amin, Adean King, and Raymone Bain claim they are entitled to a 15 per cent stake in the Michael Jackson Company. Katherine owns 10 per cent of the company, but she is now alleging business decisions have been made without her consultation and consent and she has joined El-Amin, King, and Bain in their years-long fight against executors John Branca and John McClain.

“Although I am a principal beneficiary of the Michal Jackson Family Trust, I was not informed by the Executors of Mr. Al-Amin’s December 20, 2012 letter; nor did the Executors keep me informed on the progress of this action or the progress of the Estate of Jackson case,” the legal papers filed earlier this month (Feb17) read.

The 86-year-old is reportedly seeking control of the Thriller hitmaker’s estate and a hearing has been scheduled for next month (Mar17) to determine if she is able to join the lawsuit.

The legal filing comes weeks after Katherine reportedly obtained a restraining order against her nephew Trent Lamar Jackson after accusing him of stealing from her and emotionally abusing her. He has denied the allegations.

A hearing into the case has been scheduled for 1 March (17).
