Katie Piper gives birth to second child

Katie Piper has given birth to her second child.
The 34-year-old made the announcement on Saturday (16Dec17) that she and husband Richard Sutton had welcomed a baby daughter.
“We’ve been blessed with the safe arrival of a baby girl. Our family is now complete,” she captioned a sweet shot of her holding the tot’s hand on Instagram.
Fellow mum Cheryl congratulated the charity campaigner and TV presenter on the social media site, and commented on Katie’s photo: “Congratulations Katie. So happy for you all.”
The Girls Aloud singer welcomed her first child, son Bear, with boyfriend Liam Payne in March (17).
Katie kept the sex of her second child a secret, but said her three-year-old daughter Belle was convinced it was going to be a little sister.
“I asked Belle what she thinks I’m having and she said, “A girl, like me!” – I really don’t have a preference, but I have a special bond with my sister Suzy, so another girl would be lovely,” she explained.
Katie announced she was pregnant on Fathers Day in June (17).
Sharing a snap of herself cradling her bump on Instagram, she wrote: “I’m so excited to tell you all next Father’s Day my husband will be celebrating with two children!!”
Katie has become an inspiration to millions after turning her life around following an horrific acid attack in 2008, when her ex-boyfriend Daniel Lynch threw acid in her face, leading to the former model having to undergo more than 300 surgical procedures.
She has since set up her charity The Katie Piper Foundation and written several books including Confidence: The Secret, and Together: Everything I’ve Learned About Relationships, due for release in 2018.
