Katie Price: ‘I’ll never identify the man who raped me’

Katie Price will never identify the well-known male celebrity who raped her.
According to reports, Katie went on several dates with the man before the sexual assault occurred, and it is believed to have happened before the glamour model appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2004, where she met her future husband Peter Andre.
She accidentally revealed details of the rape while filming her reality show What Katie Did Next back in 2009, but as she didn’t report it at the time and has steadfastly refused to name her attacker, police have never been able to investigate.
Now, in a new interview with The Sun Online, Katie said that despite the numerous women coming forward with their own tales of sexual assault in the wake of the allegations made against disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, she will never go public with her story.
“I was raped by a celebrity but no, I’ll never name him, I just don’t want the drama,” she said, before adding: “I don’t even know if he knows that I’ve spoken about him, I doubt he does.”
Katie was speaking to the website at the launch of her new novel, Playing With Fire, on Tuesday. She was also asked for her opinions on Weinstein, to which she replied: “I don’t know much about the Harvey Weinstein case, but he’ll go down for it.”
Following the episode of What Katie Did Next in which she spoke about the rape, Katie’s friends revealed that it happened after a party in London’s West End.
“She told how he became violent towards her after not getting his way,” one friend told the Daily Mirror in 2009. “At one point he made a move for her throat. It sounded terrible. At the time she was too scared to report it.”
