Katt Williams hit with lawsuit

Brian Herline has accused the troubled star of wrapping up his stand-up show in Oakland, California after just 10 minutes on 16 November (12) in order to confront a heckler and allegedly attempt to fight at least three audience members.

Now Williams and bosses at entertainment firm Live Nation have been named in a class action lawsuit for his less-than-stellar performance.

Herline filed the papers on Wednesday (21Nov12) in Alameda County and is seeking unspecified damages, according to TMZ.com.

This is the latest in a slew of legal problems for Williams – he was arrested the day before the alleged incident (15Nov12) on allegations of battery and he was recently hit with a $5 million (£3.1 million) lawsuit over accusations he assaulted a female assistant. Last month (Oct12) he was also taken into custody on a possible gun violation.
