A judge in Sacramento, California issued a bench warrant for the funnyman’s arrest after he missed a scheduled court appearance relating to a police car chase in the city in November (12).
Williams allegedly rode a three-wheeled motorcycle on the sidewalk before speeding off. He was detained a day after the incident and subsequently charged with evading a police officer while driving in a reckless manner.
The star was due in court on Monday for his arraignment in relation to the case, but he failed to show up – prompting a judge to take action, according to TMZ.com.
Williams became a wanted man last month (Dec12) after skipping a court hearing in Washington stemming from an alleged bar fight, while he has been facing a number of other legal woes in recent months.
He has been arrested on several occasions to face allegations including harassment, assault and reckless driving and he was detained on suspicion of child endangerment over the festive season (Dec12).
