Veteran actor Keith Carradine is reuniting with director David Lowery and Oscar winner Casey Affleck for a new drama.

The trio previously worked together on independent 2013 movie Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, and now Dexter star Keith has boarded Lowery’s latest project, Old Man And The Gun.

Casey and Robert Redford were previously cast as the leading men in the film, based on the real-life story of career bank robber Forrest Tucker, who escaped from prison 18 times.

Old Man And The Gun is adapted from reporter David Grann’s 2003 New Yorker magazine article, which focuses on Tucker’s latter years, including breaking out of California’s San Quentin State Prison at the age of 70.

Redford will portray Tucker, with Affleck as the detective hunting him down and Carradine as his police captain, reports Deadline.com.

Production on the film, which also co-stars Sissy Spacek and Danny Glover, is already underway in Cincinnati, Ohio.
