Kendall Jenner is set to expand her empire by launching her own beauty line.
According to papers obtained by The Blast, the supermodel has filed to trademark the phrases “Kendall” and “Kendall Jenner” for use on an array of cosmetic products.
Kendall was previously under an exclusive contract with cosmetics giant Estee Lauder, and was the face of a millennial-targeted line of beauty products for several years. Now that contract has ended, the star looks set to break into the industry on her own.
In the filing, the 23-year-old’s team expressed her intention to release a selection of items, including forays into fragrance, hair care, bath and shower gel, skin cleansers, face masks, body scrubs, lip gloss, nail polish and more.
The potential new venture would place Kendall as the latest in the Kardashian-Jenner clan to expand into cosmetics, following in the footsteps of sisters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner.
Kim, 38, runs the successful KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance empires, while 21-year-old Kylie’s Kylie Cosmetics line continues to grow, with a rumoured expansion into skincare. Both sisters also recently collaborated on an upcoming joint fragrance line, but the project has been postponed after the product failed to meet manufacturing guidelines.
Kendall’s filing follows her move into the beauty industry last month (April 2019) when she invested in oral care company Moon.
