Kerry Washington Teases ‘Scandal’ and ‘How to Get Away With Murder’ Crossover

Actresses Kerry Washington and Viola Davis are finally set to share the screen in crossover episodes of their hit shows Scandal and How To Get Away With Murder.

Both drama series are executive produced by Shonda Rhimes, and on Wednesday (03Jan18), it was confirmed story lines will merge for a special TV event.

Kerry teased fans about the big crossover in a post on Instagram, sharing a photo of herself in character as political fixer Olivia Pope sitting on a bench outside a courtroom from the set of How to Get Away with Murder.

Responding with a snap of herself in Scandal’s Oval Office, Viola wrote, “Hey @KerryWashington, guess where I am?!”

Shonda, who created Scandal, then posted a close-up picture of the script for the day, in which Pope comes face-to-face with Viola’s law professor Annalise Keating.

“People. It’s happening,” Shonda declared.
