Field Of Dreams and Tin Cup star Kevin Costner is switching sports to play a troubled football general manager in a new movie. The actor will lead the cast of Draft Day, which will also feature Jennifer Garner, Ellen Burstyn, Denis Leary and Frank Langella.
The film, directed by Ivan Reitman, spans the tense 24 hours surrounding the annual National Football League Draft, when college players are selected to become professionals.
This year’s draft, which takes place next week (beg22Apr13) in New York City, will be filmed for the movie, which will then be shot in Cleveland, Ohio this summer (13).
