Kevin Hart Convinced Dwayne Johnson To Bare His Butt Onscreen

Comedian Kevin Hart convinced his Central Intelligence co-star Dwayne Johnson to bare his butt for the cameras to boost the movie’s appeal.

The wrestler-turned-actor, who has previously shown off his toned backside in his TV drama series Ballers, reveals he had no plans to expose his backside in the new action comedy until Kevin persuaded him to, insisting it would draw in more female viewers.

“I remember sitting at the table (at a production meeting) and the question was, ‘Are you going to show your butt in this movie?’ and I was like, ‘Nah,'” Dwayne recalled. “(But then) Kevin was like, ‘Yes. You should.'”

“It got a little uncomfortable!” the 44-year-old told Eonline.com.

Kevin explains, “I told him, ‘The audience that we want wants your butt’. If they wanted my butt, I would give them my butt. They don’t want my butt.”

In the new movie, Johnson, also known as The Rock, portrays once geeky, overweight kid who becomes a lethal CIA agent and recruits an old schoolmate, played by Hart, to help him on a top-secret mission.

Hart previously revealed he was left in awe of The Rock’s tough guy nature after the muscle-bound star brushed off a major on-set disaster, during which the funnyman forcefully pushed open a door in a scene – only to cause a chunk of the ceiling to crash down on Johnson.

“I really almost killed The Rock,” Kevin remarked during an appearance on U.S. talk show Conan in January (16). “He’s chasing me into a room and when I run into the room I fling the door open… and I flew (sic) the door so hard… the piece of ceiling fell and hit him on the head.”

“He should have been out, but this is what he did – he goes, ‘Guess someone’s gotta fix that!’ I’m like, ‘What?!'”

Central Intelligence is set for release next week (begs13Jun16), but it’s not the only movie the new pals have been working on – Hart also recently signed up to join Johnson in the upcoming Jumanji remake.
