Khloe Kardashian convinced pregnancy workouts made her labour ‘easy’

New mum Khloe Kardashian credits her pregnancy exercise sessions with enabling her to enjoy a “fantastic and easy” labour.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star documented her workouts online throughout her pregnancy, and gave birth to her first child, daughter True, with boyfriend Tristan Thompson, in April (18).
She returned to the gym last month (May18) in a bid to regain her pre-baby body, and now claims staying active actually helped the whole birthing process.
Khloe made the statement as she responded to a fan inquiring about how she balanced pregnancy with her fitness routine.
“@khloekardashian i just found out am expecting and i work out alot (sic) how did you work out while you were expecting true?” wrote a Twitter follower named Ashley.
“It’s important to continue doing what you always did,” Khloe replied. “I continued working out my entire pregnancy and my pregnancy was amazing. My labor was so fantastic and easy and I hear (it’s) because I stayed healthy and active!”
“Congratulations and God bless,” she added.
Another fan then asked for advice on motivation to get back into the gym after a baby.
“Did you happen to struggle when you started training with your trainers?,” tweeted Celeste Torres. “I just started and I’m worried I’m going to struggle forever with how my first day went today. HELP”.
Khloe responded with a few words of encouragement as she admitted it was tough to pull herself away from her newborn to get back into shape: “I struggled (for) the first two weeks. It’s so hard to get back to working out. I still struggle but I feel so much stronger,” she shared. “Stay with it!! I believe in you!”
The reality star, who also fronts fitness programme Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian, went on to offer up advice for anyone else fearing they face an uphill battle with weightloss.
“It’s so f**king hard and frustrating at first. But it took nine months to create our Angels, we have to be patient together,” she tweeted. “It’s all so hard but trust me it will happen.”
Khloe’s comments emerged hours after she posted footage of herself taking part in a couples workout at home in Los Angeles with basketball player Tristan.
“True is down for her nap so it’s time to get a morning workout in,” she explained in a series of Snapchat clips. “I always know that I feel great after my workouts but sometimes getting the energy to just go in that gym… I just want to go back to sleep too and take a nap with True.”
She added: “If you stay ready you never have to get ready. So I gotta get back to staying ready.”
