Khloe Kardashian sends fan Good American apparel after backlash

Khloe Kardashian has surprised a fan by sending her a box of Good American apparel after she tweeted she was working overtime to afford buy the jeans.

The 33-year-old came under fire for calling Twitter user Kaelynn Abner “cute” after she tweeted earlier this month (15Mar19) that she’d have to work 20 hours of extra shifts in order to save up enough money to buy a piece from the brand. Garments from the Good American line can cost up to $189.

Kaelynn returned to Twitter on Tuesday, however, to share her excitement after the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star sent her a box full of pieces from the label.

“I am so thankful (that Khloe) took the time out of her day to send me some AMAZING clothes,” she wrote.

She also posted a selection of pictures of the items, which included jeans, denim skirts and shorts, activewear co-ords, and T-shirts.

The fashion mogul soon responded to Kaelynn’s post, gushing that she was “so happy” that she liked the goodies.

“Keep working hard and being such a positive soul,” Khloe tweeted.

The reality star also addressed fans that criticised her for being “sick” and “out of touch” for her initial comment, and suggested that she never meant to cause any upset.

“I was so honoured this young woman spent her hard earned money on GA (Good American), I was sending her GA out of pure gratitude/appreciation as soon as I saw her tweet,” she insisted.

“Never did I think my tweet would be taken so negatively.”

Good American was co-founded by Khloe and Emma Grede in October 2016, with the pair claiming to have achieved $1 million worth of sales on the first day of trading.
