Kid Rock to manage country group

Rocker Kid Rock has signed on to manage a new country girl group.
The Bawitdaba hitmaker discovered the Sweet Tea Trio on YouTube and has teamed up with Vector Management founder Ken Levitan to steer their career.
“These young ladies are some of the most talented, kindhearted and hard working singers and players I have ever met,” he tells Variety. “They are already becoming fast scholars of the road and writing songs.
“In my opinion, they pick up where the Dixie Chicks and (Miranda Lambert’s band) Pistol Annies meet. They are 100 per cent country and I look forward to sharing my 30 years in this business to get them an honest shot at the big time.”
The group released a self titled EP in June (17), but it is unclear if they are working on a new record. They are set to perform on Kid Rock’s Chillin The Most Cruise and the ladies will open for the rocker at select dates on his arena tour this year (18).
