Kim Kardashian used a laser treatment to remove the stretchmarks on her breasts after she gave birth to her first child.
The reality star became a mom for the third time when her youngest daughter Chicago was born via a surrogate last month (Jan18) after struggling with life-threatening fertility issues during her previous two pregnancies.
Kim enjoyed natural births with four-year-old daughter North and two-year-old son Saint and on Tuesday night (06Feb18) she opened up about her struggles with stretchmarks after breastfeeding North.
“I wasn’t happy with the stretch marks on my boobs, so I had the area Coolbeam lasered by Dr. Ourian (a plastic surgeon based in Los Angeles),” she posted on her app. “It made SUCH a difference. The Coolbeam lasers are the best for removing scars, stretch marks and skin imperfections.”
Kim went on to explain that the process increases collagen regeneration by resurfacing the top layer of skin, and was pleasantly surprised to discover the technique caused very little pain.
“I was really scared that it would hurt, but it wasn’t bad at all. Afterward, I was SO excited to see the effects on my skin,” she said.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star claimed she gained 50 pounds while pregnant with her first daughter, and additionally noted the ultrasound radio frequency (USRF) technique she used to tighten up the loose skin on her stomach after giving birth – thoroughly recommending the treatment to all new mums.
“Anyone who has had kids understands what pregnancy will do to your belly button – getting an ultrasound treatment on my stomach just totally tightened the area up,” she explained.
